Creation of a Comfortable Work Environment

Flextime System

We have established a system that allows employees to work from 11:00 to 15:00 as their core working hours, allowing them to work according to their work progress and family obligations.

Anniversary Leave System

This system allows employees to take five days off per year on “important days” of their own choosing, such as anniversaries with spouses or loved ones, birthdays of family members, or their own birthdays. This system is based on our desire for employees to cherish the time they spend with their loved ones.

Business Casual System

We implement voluntary business casual attire throughout the year to foster an environment that encourages flexible thinking, to increase efficiency, and to promote globalization.

Initiatives to Promote Women’s Advancement

  • December 21, 2020: Certified as an “Eruboshi” company

    As an “excellent company” based on the Act on the Promotion of Female Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace, we received a three-star rating, the highest level of “Eruboshi” certification, from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Support for Balancing Work and Childcare

  • March 10, 2021: Certified as a “Kurumin” company that supports childcare

    • We hold regular “childcare salons” where employees working while raising children or planning to have or raise children can interact with each other to build a community and dispel concerns.

    • We expanded the scope of the shortened working hour system for childcare from those with a child under three years of age as stipulated by law to those with a child younger than elementary school age.

    • We provide a “childcare support allowance” to employees who use the shortened working hour system for childcare.

Promotional Examination System

We aim to create human resources who are not limited by Elan-specific knowledge and common practices, but who can be effective in any workplace. We conduct promotion examinations according to internal grades, incorporating external indicators such as essay examinations and language examinations.
